Red Cross Babysitter and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Class - Official Certification - CHARLEVOIX Public Library

**After payment is processed, you will receive an email that will be requesting basic registration information about the student who is participating in the class, and if there are any food allergies we need to alert other students about (such as peanut allergies) during snack breaks!**

WHO: ages 11 to 17 

WHAT: This course will equip new or hopeful babysitters with essential skills and knowledge to confidently and safely care for children, including how to handle emergencies and start a babysitting business. The Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED class requires 2-3 hours of online coursework to be completed before we meet for the 2 hour skills portion where skills are practiced and each student is certified in the peformance of each skill. 

There will be numerous breaks during both classes and a half hour lunch break around 12:30pm on Aug 1st. 

WHERE: Charlevoix Public Library -

220 Clinton St, Charlevoix, MI 49720

We will have use of the Trustees Conference Room for this class.

WHEN: Saturday, Aug 1st - 10:30am to 3:30pm

AND Sunday, Aug 2nd - 2pm to 4pm

The babysitting class is five hours long and the Pediatric CPR skills class is 2 hours long. There will be numerous short breaks throughout the class and we will have a half hour lunch break around 12:30 pm.
